Rocking Rockers- A Guide to Nursing Chairs

So..... I've been in the market for a nursing chair for baby number 2 on the way I'm always honing in on what's on the market for clients but it's even harder to decide when it's for yourself. I thought I'd take the legwork out of the equation for all you in the market and put together a short top list of my favs.

I love the sleek look of this chair and the legs are a bit scandi which is nice, so many colour combos to choose between too makes it even better.

The Georgetown Rocker
Hobbe release such great quality chairs, this is my personal fav I can contest to the comfort of the rock.

I use this classic rocker a lot in my designs and clients love the simplicity and the price tag of this chair, it's modern sleek look is easy to blend in to any nursery

Prefer something a bit different? A bit retro, I love this cool chair the big plus is that the look of it will definitely blend in with a lounge room setting when nursing days are behind you

Comfortable and compact this rocker is super easy to fit in a small space and the high back offers good support.

Gorgeous and classy this rocker is ultra comfy and love the colour- very mod.

Happy rocking people!

Star Light- Star Bright

As the silly season descends upon us and we all race towards the festive break, I thought it a great time to add some starlight into your little one's world. The star holds so many meanings for people, it's that little bit of magic that we all try to hold on to. Here's a cute star inspired vision board to help get us in the mood, from some of my favourite suppliers.

Creating with Wallpaper

If you've ever wallpapered a room you've no doubt had leftover paper, i have a load of it sitting in the wardrobde right now. So I looked to see what creative ideas I could use them for and these ideas are what I found.....
Below are 6 easy ways to spice up your life with wallpaper.

1) Creating a cloud feature, you could do this across an entire wall or a small section to zone a space such as a play corner

2) Making a wallpaper Atlas is not only beautiful it's educational too; win win!

3) Lining Furniture with leftovers is a great way to put some pizaaz back into an old treasure, I love the use of pattern in this bedside table

4) Layering strips of different wallpaper can make for an interesting backdrop, you can combine all kinds of retro patterns like this sweet wall

5) A genius idea is to use the paper for your desk's inboard or magnetic board.

6) Adding interest to an old bookshelf, the zig zags really lift this piece and make it super kind friendly

7) Making a wallpaper house on a wall is an easy way to curb some creative play without taking up precious floor space a great alternative to a dollhouse.

Happy sticking people!
